profilebrief is provided free of charge under the MIT-style license described below. By installing or using the extension you agree to these terms.
License
profilebrief is licensed for personal and commercial use. You may install it, use it on as many devices as you like, and use briefs you compose with it for any purpose. You may not redistribute the extension binary itself outside the official Chrome / Firefox / Edge stores without permission.
No warranty
profilebrief is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the brief output is fit for any specific decision, hire, sale, or meeting outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, vøiddo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of profilebrief. The brief is a starting draft, not a recommendation.
Acceptable use
Don't use profilebrief to compose briefs about people without their general expectation of being researched (e.g., a counterparty in a sales call, a candidate on your hiring slate, a guest on your podcast — fine; surveilling a private individual without legitimate context — not fine). Local laws may further restrict use; comply with them.
Modifications
We may update profilebrief over time. Material changes (especially anything that would alter the privacy posture) will be announced before they ship. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Termination
You may uninstall the extension at any time. We may discontinue the extension at any time; if so, existing installs will continue to function as long as the browser supports the manifest version they were built against.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where vøiddo is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
