The short version
profilebrief runs entirely in your browser. We never see what you paste, never store it, never send it anywhere. There is no account, no telemetry, no analytics, no fingerprinting. The text you paste lives inside the popup until you close it.
What data the extension collects
Nothing. profilebrief does not collect, transmit, log, or persist any user data. The extension has zero permissions for hosts, tabs, cookies, browsing history, or storage. It is a pure-client utility.
What data is sent to a server
Nothing. profilebrief makes no network requests. Once installed, the extension works offline.
What data is stored locally
Nothing persistent. The popup is a transient surface — when you close it, your input is discarded. Notes you type into the after-meeting block are stored only as long as the popup is open. To preserve a brief beyond the session, click save .txt or use the print dialog.
Cookies, analytics, fingerprinting
None. profilebrief does not use cookies, analytics, fingerprinting, beacons, pixels, or any third-party tracking infrastructure.
Children's privacy
profilebrief does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including users under 13. There is nothing to collect — see above.
Data subject rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we hold no user data, GDPR access / deletion / portability rights are non-applicable: there is nothing on our side to access, delete, or port. Your local browser holds your input only while the popup is open.
Changes to this policy
If we ever ship a Pro tier with optional server-side AI processing, this page will be updated to disclose what is sent and what is retained, and the change will be announced before the feature ships. Until then, the policy is: nothing leaves your browser.
