what you get, what we promise, what we don't. plain english.
these are the terms of service for pricepulse. plain english, no “notwithstanding the foregoing”. if anything below is unclear, email support@voiddo.com.

1. who we are
pricepulse is a browser extension and SaaS service operated by voiddo (a small studio, remote / Israel). voiddo is the contracting entity for free and paid plans alike. paddle.com market limited is our merchant of record for paid plans — meaning paddle, not voiddo, charges your card and is the entity on your bank statement.
2. what you're agreeing to
by installing or using the extension, you agree to:
- only add URLs to your watchlist that you have a legitimate reason to monitor (your competitors' public pricing pages, your own product pages, public docs, etc.);
- not use the service to scrape data behind a login, paywall, or any access control;
- not use the service in ways that violate any applicable law or the target site's terms of service;
- not abuse our infrastructure (e.g., adding tens of thousands of URLs through scripts, attempting SSRF, attempting to exhaust shared rate limits).
we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the above. for the “not behind a login” rule: pricepulse fetches as an unauthenticated public client. if a target page returns 401/403/login redirect, we record the failure and skip the cycle — we never attempt to defeat access controls.

free users get rolling 30-day snapshot history; Pro and Pro+ users get unlimited history. Pro and Pro+ also get CSV export and AI tier-extraction; Pro+ adds Slack/Discord webhooks and a JSON read-API.
4. fair-use limits
tier caps are honest hard caps, not soft suggestions. if you need more, email us and we'll discuss an enterprise arrangement. on top of the per-tier caps, we apply a global fair-use ceiling so a single account can't burn through shared infrastructure: 100 watchlist mutations per minute on Pro, 200 per minute on Pro+. these limits exist to protect the service for everyone; we have never applied them to a real user in normal usage.
5. service availability
we operate the service on a best-effort basis. we target ≥ 99.5% monthly uptime for the API and scheduler. if we miss that, paid users can request a pro-rata service credit by emailing support@voiddo.com; the credit is the only remedy for downtime. planned maintenance is announced in our change log when it requires a downtime window.
6. content & intellectual property
your watchlist URLs and snapshots: they're yours. we hold them on your behalf to provide the service; we don't license them, sell them, or use them to train models. on cancellation, we delete them within 30 days (sooner on request).
our extension and service: the extension binary, the backend, the website copy, the icon, and the brand mark are owned by voiddo. we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them as a customer.
third-party page content: when our backend fetches and renders a page on your watchlist, we are acting as your agent. we make no claim to the page content; we just diff its text and surface the diff back to you. if the source site's robots.txt or terms forbid automated access, do not add that URL to your watchlist — you will be the one breaching the source terms, not us.
7. payment terms
paddle handles all payment processing for paid plans. by upgrading, you also agree to paddle's buyer terms. subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. we do not store your card details.
price changes apply to new subscribers immediately and to existing subscribers at their next renewal — we'll email at least 14 days before the renewal if your price is changing.
8. cancellation & refunds
you can cancel any time from the paddle customer portal. you keep your tier features until the end of the current billing period; we never charge for the period after cancellation.

9. termination by us
we may suspend or terminate your access if you breach §2, abuse the service, or our payment processor reverses a charge as fraud. in that case we'll email you, refund any pre-paid balance for the unused portion, and delete your data on your request. we reserve the right to terminate any free-tier account for any reason after 30 days' notice; we have never done this and don't expect to, but a court order or upstream policy might force our hand someday.
10. liability & warranties
the service is provided “as is”. we don't warrant that the diffs are exhaustive, that an alert will arrive within any specific window, or that a missed change is grounds for any claim against us. we exercise reasonable diligence; we are not your sole source of intelligence on a competitor.
to the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the lesser of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. the courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we and you each retain the right to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. EU and UK consumers retain all rights granted by their local consumer-protection laws.
12. changes to these terms
if we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll email all paid users at least 14 days before the change takes effect. the “last updated” line at the top of this page is authoritative.
